Construction Phase
How we can help in the Construction Phase
Each project is unique and will throw up its own set of unique difficulties. The best way to minimise the impact of those difficulties is to have achieved all of those things necessary during the Pre-Construction Phase.
This then gives you the best possible foundation to begin the Construction Phase of the project.
Below are just some of the things that A&R Consultants can do for you:
- Completion Certification – how to obtain it
- Health & safety – inspections and reports
- Marketing – for specialist marketing and PR advice and support
- Meetings – both on and off site. Arranging, attending and leading meetings with designers, clients, highways officials, council members, members of the public, press and all those involved in ensuring a project is completed successfully
- Principle designer
- Project management
- Quantity Surveying – programme evaluation and forecasting, variations, valuations, invoicing
- Site management
- Site visits and analysis
- Street works supervision
- Technical analysis of – construction issue drawings, health and safety information. Stage 3 Safety Audits
- Testing – having tests carried out, analysis and interpretation of test reports
During the Construction Phase you must have a thorough understanding of the project, as well as a thorough understanding of what is required by the Highways Authority.
Being able to streamline critical tasks without compromising quality, having the ability to adapt quickly to any new situation that a project throws at you and being resilient to pressure is essential.
Add to this excellent communication and negotiation skills, and the Construction Phase of the project will conclude on time and on budget.
